Charter authorizing is complex work, requiring constant balancing of varied and often competing interests. To do this difficult work well, authorizers need a strong commitment to excellence, a well-developed strategic plan, and a clear and compelling statement of purpose—a mission for quality.
This course explores the reasons for having a clear, and compelling mission for quality authorizing, the importance of being on a mission—not just having one, the elements of a strong mission and strategies for creating one.
